Jarrad Branthwaite and Jordan Pickford have been named in the England squad for the upcoming Nations League fixtures, head coach Thomas Tuchel announced on Friday.
The two Everton players were selected as England prepare for four Group A3 matches during the extended international break.
The call-up rewards Branthwaite's strong start to the season. The 24-year-old centre-back holds one senior England cap, earned against Bosnia and Herzegovina in June 2024.
Pickford enters the camp on the back of a record-extending fifth Premier League Save of the Month award, recognising his stop to deny Crystal Palace's Eddie Nketiah on the opening day of the 2026/27 season. The goalkeeper has 91 caps for England.
England open their Nations League campaign against world champions Spain at Wembley on Saturday 26 September, then travel to Czechia three days later. A trip to Croatia follows on Saturday 3 October, before the return fixture against Czechia at Wembley on Tuesday 6 October.
