Arsenal swept aside Lille with three goals in six minutes at Emirates Stadium on Tuesday, winning 3-0 to make it two victories from two in this season's Champions League.
Ebere Eze opened his account for the campaign, with his goal sandwiched between strikes from Jurrien Timber and Bukayo Saka. The second-half blitz ended a goalless first half in which Arsenal dominated but could not find a breakthrough.
"It's fun!" Eze said when asked to describe playing in Arsenal's attack when everything clicks. "You know that opportunities are coming all over the place, so you've just got to be ready, be in the right places, be in the right spaces to get on the end of stuff. It's a fun team to play in!"
Eze added that Mikel Arteta's half-time message was not a major overhaul. "I think it was just more of the same. There were slight details that we obviously tweaked and changed to give us a bit more dominance, but it was more of the same."
The triple introduction of Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard and Saka in the second half proved the decisive shift, with all three goals arriving within six minutes once the deadlock was broken.
Arsenal, second in the Premier League with 15 points from six games, now travel to Bayern Munich for their next Champions League fixture.
