Aston Villa supporters were treated to a striking pre-match tifo display ahead of the club's UEFA Champions League fixture against Fenerbahçe at Villa Park, with the 'Villa Villan' character making another appearance in front of the Holte End.

The display formed part of a wider pre-match spectacle that included lights, flames, fireworks and pyrotechnics on the big screens around the ground, as Villa Park was draped in claret and blue flags ahead of the European fixture.

The occasion also marked the return of Champions League football to B6, with the club framing the match as the opening of 'The Next Chapter' of 'Our European Story' following their Europa League triumph.

The 'Villa Villan' figure first reappeared during the 2024/25 Champions League tie against Juventus, which fell in the club's 150th anniversary season. It subsequently featured in a Premier League tifo for the home match against Chelsea in March before appearing again in the Europa League quarter-final second leg against Bologna at Villa Park the following month.
