Tottenham have sent full-back Souza to FC Porto on loan for the remainder of the 2026/27 season, the club confirmed on 31 August.

Souza arrived at Tottenham from Brazilian Serie A side Santos in January 2026. The right-back made his debut as a substitute against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 7 February and went on to make four appearances in total last season.

Born in Mauá, São Paulo, Souza has represented Brazil at youth level, earning caps for the Under-17 side. He featured for the national team at the Under-17 FIFA World Cup in November 2023.

Porto compete in the Portuguese Primeira Liga, giving Souza his first taste of European football after his move from South America.
