Tottenham Hotspur will wear a combination of their away and home kits for the opening Premier League fixture of the 2026/27 season at Brentford on Saturday (5.30pm BST).
With Brentford lining up in their traditional red and white striped shirts, black shorts and black socks, Spurs will pair their new navy blue away shirts and dark navy away shorts with white home kit socks to avoid a colour clash at the Gtech Community Stadium.
The new 2026/27 away shirt features a dark navy blue base with coloured patterns across the front. The white socks from the home kit are needed because Brentford's outfield players will wear black socks.
It is not the first time Spurs have used this combination at Brentford on an opening weekend. In August 2023, Tottenham began the 2023/24 campaign at the same ground in dark blue away shirts and shorts paired with white home socks — a kit combination that was used several times across that season.
In goal, Brentford's goalkeeper will wear a light pink strip, while Spurs' goalkeeper will appear in a dark green second-choice keeper's kit with yellow patterns on the jersey.
