Morgan Rogers has become just the fifth Chelsea player in the club's Premier League history to score or assist in each of the first four games of a season, following his goal in the 2-2 draw against Hull City on Saturday.
The attacker has three league goals already this campaign, including his first at Stamford Bridge against Hull, and also recorded an assist for Pedro Neto in the earlier win over Brighton.
Only teammate Joao Pedro has more combined goals and assists in the Premier League this term, with six. Including the Carabao Cup, Rogers leads all Premier League players in goal contributions after setting up three in the 6-0 midweek win over Leeds.
Rogers has created ten chances in the league, a figure bettered by only four players, and ranks third for shots taken following a ball carry.
The four other Chelsea players to have achieved the feat are Didier Drogba in 2010/11, Cesc Fabregas in 2014/15, Diego Costa in both 2014/15 and 2016/17, and Eden Hazard in 2018/19.
Drogba scored hat-tricks in each of the opening two league matches that season, while Fabregas provided assists in all four fixtures as Chelsea went on to win the title. Diego Costa remains the only player on the list to have done it twice, and Hazard accomplished it in his final season at the club before leaving in 2019.
