Tijjani Reijnders has departed Manchester City to join Saudi Pro League club Al Qadsiah on a permanent deal, subject to international clearance. The Dutch midfielder spent just over a year at the Etihad after arriving from AC Milan in June 2025.

Reijnders made 50 appearances for City across all competitions, scoring seven goals. He marked his Premier League debut with a goal in a 4-0 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers last August.

The 28-year-old also contributed to City's double cup success in 2025/26, playing a role in both the FA Cup and Carabao Cup victories.

On the international stage, Reijnders — who has earned 35 caps for the Netherlands — was part of the Dutch squad at the 2026 World Cup finals.

"I have been incredibly privileged to play for Manchester City, and I have relished every minute of my time here," Reijnders said. "To be part of the squad that won two such special trophies last season were both incredible experiences and achievements that I will savour forever."

Director of Football Hugo Viana paid tribute to the departing midfielder. "Tijjani more than made his mark across his time here at Manchester City," Viana said. "He impressed everyone with his talent, application, hard work and total dedication and was the perfect professional."
