Pedro Porro and Micky van de Ven will both miss Tottenham's Premier League opener against Brentford on Saturday, manager Roberto De Zerbi confirmed at his pre-match press conference.
Porro returned late to pre-season after winning the World Cup with Spain and has not yet reached full fitness. Van de Ven, who also featured at the World Cup with the Netherlands, picked up a minor injury during Tottenham's pre-season tour of New Zealand and Australia.
"Micky is not on the list tomorrow, like Pedro Porro," De Zerbi said. "The other players are all inside - James Maddison is inside, Dominic Solanke is inside, Destiny Udogie is inside, Mateus Fernandes is inside."
De Zerbi also ruled out Pape Sarr as a precaution after the midfielder reported hamstring discomfort on Friday. "He felt pain today in his hamstring, nothing important, but we don't take a risk with him, especially in this moment," the manager said.
Kulusevski, Odobert and Xavi Simons remain injured, while Mo Kudus was described as "almost ready" by De Zerbi. "These are big points for us, they are top players for us, and we're looking forward to watching them on the pitch," he added.
On Van de Ven's condition, De Zerbi offered reassurance: "Today he's working with us, with the group, he's going very well. He suffered a problem during the pre-season in Australia, not a big problem." He confirmed that Marco Senesi and Ben Davies are available to cover at centre-back.
