Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie will both be assessed before Tottenham's Premier League fixture against Everton on Saturday (5.30pm BST).

The Spurs head coach said Porro had "felt a small muscular problem" and indicated he is unwilling to risk either full-back's long-term fitness.

"Pedro Porro felt a small muscular problem, we have to see tomorrow if he's available or not but in this moment I don't want to take any risks. The same (with) Udogie," De Zerbi said.

The Italian manager pointed to the workload behind both players' uncertainty. Porro featured heavily in the World Cup, while Udogie has struggled with injuries throughout 2026, playing only 60 minutes in Tottenham's previous outing at Nottingham.

"Pedro Porro and Udogie are similar players because one, Pedro played a World Cup, a long World Cup and we already knew after the World Cup it could be a difficult management for him and for Udogie, last season (he) suffered many injuries," De Zerbi added.

New loan signing Mykhailo Mudryk is also sidelined after picking up an ankle injury, joining Dejan Kulusevski, Wilson Odobert and Xavi Simons on the treatment table.

James Maddison, however, is available again after missing the club's last three matches with a shoulder problem.
