Chelsea's new ownership group issued its first public statement on Wednesday, declaring an ambition to win the Premier League and other major trophies while building what it called sustained, long-term success.

The statement, published on September 17, 2026, follows what the ownership described as "an important milestone" the previous day — marking a change in the club's shareholder structure after departing partners stepped away.

"Chelsea FC supporters are the heart of this Club and have been its true custodians for over 120 years," the ownership wrote. "While we have the responsibility of ownership, this will always be your Club."

Beyond on-pitch targets, the new owners pledged to strengthen Chelsea commercially to fund consistent team investment, and said they would continue pursuing long-term infrastructure solutions for the club.

Chelsea, one of English football's biggest clubs, have been without a Premier League title since 2017. The statement offered no details on immediate transfer plans or managerial direction.
