Danso joins Sunderland on loan from Tottenham

Kevin Danso has left Tottenham on loan, joining Sunderland for the remainder of the 2026/27 season. The deal includes a conditional obligation to make the transfer permanent next summer, subject to performance-related clauses.

The 26-year-old Austria international arrived at Spurs initially on loan from Ligue 1 club RC Lens in February 2025, before signing permanently ahead of the following campaign. He made 52 appearances for Tottenham, scoring once.

Danso has earned 36 caps for Austria and was part of the squad at Euro 2024, later featuring four times at the 2026 World Cup.
