Chelsea have signed academy striker Jashayde Greenwood to his first professional contract, the club confirmed on Sunday, with the deal following his 17th birthday.
Greenwood joined Chelsea ahead of the 2025/26 season after leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers, initially linking up with the club's Under-18 squad.
The forward had already accumulated Under-18 Premier League experience before his move, making seven appearances and scoring once for Wolves as a schoolboy during the 2024/25 campaign.
He made an immediate mark at Stamford Bridge, contributing to Dan Hogan's Under-18 side winning both the southern and national Under-18 Premier League titles. Greenwood finished the campaign with 23 appearances and nine goals across all competitions.
At international level, Greenwood has represented England at Under-16 level.
