The first international break of the 2026/27 Premier League season gets underway from 21 September, with several Chelsea players set to represent their countries for the first time since the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
This year's September window has been extended, with FIFA combining the September and October international breaks into a single two-week period. Each national team can play up to four matches, running through to 6 October.
The condensed schedule means two consecutive weekends without domestic club football across Europe's top leagues.
Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti has recalled Chelsea forwards Joao Pedro and Estevao Willian for a trio of friendlies. Both players missed the World Cup and will be looking to make their mark in the upcoming fixtures.
Brazil open their programme against Australia at North Queensland Stadium on Friday 25 September (7am UK time), before a second meeting with Australia at Lang Park on Tuesday 29 September (7am). The Selecao then travel to face India at Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday 3 October (3pm UK time).
All kick-off times listed are UK time. The full list of Chelsea call-ups will be updated as further nations confirm their squads.
