Everton striker Beto has joined Serie A club Fiorentina on a permanent transfer for an undisclosed fee, the Premier League side confirmed.

The 28-year-old Portuguese forward made 113 appearances for Everton across all competitions after signing from Udinese in August 2023, scoring 25 goals during his three seasons at the club.

Beto marked his Everton debut with a goal against Doncaster Rovers in the Carabao Cup. His first Premier League strike came in December 2023, when he netted in a 3-0 home victory over Newcastle United at Goodison Park.

The Guinea Bissau international also scored the opening goal in the final men's Merseyside derby played at Goodison Park in February 2025, a match that ended 2-2.

Beto departs as Everton continue their transition away from the historic Goodison Park ground, with the club having relocated to their new stadium.
