Stefan Bajcetic has completed a permanent transfer from Liverpool to Celta Vigo, ending a five-and-a-half-year spell at Anfield. The 21-year-old midfielder made 22 senior appearances for the Reds and scored once during his time at the club.

Bajcetic originally joined Liverpool from Celta in February 2021 and progressed through the club's Academy ranks. He made his senior debut under Jürgen Klopp as a substitute in the 9-0 Premier League win over AFC Bournemouth in August 2022, aged just 17.

His first senior goal came in a 3-1 victory at Aston Villa on Boxing Day that same year, and he went on to feature 19 times in that campaign. Injury problems, however, restricted him to just three appearances in the following season.

Bajcetic spent the 2024-25 season on loan, playing 33 games across stints with Red Bull Salzburg and Las Palmas. He was unable to make a single appearance during 2025-26, leading to the agreement of a permanent exit.

The Spanish midfielder now returns to the Galician club where his professional career began, rejoining Celta Vigo on a permanent basis.
