Leandro Trossard has completed a permanent transfer from Arsenal to Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas. The move ends a three-and-a-half-year spell in north London for the Belgian winger.
Trossard, 31, joined Arsenal from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2023 and made 174 appearances in all competitions, scoring 36 goals and registering 34 assists during his time at the club.
His most notable contribution came in the 2025/26 Premier League title-winning season, when his goal secured a 1-0 victory away to West Ham United — a result Arsenal later described as pivotal in their historic title triumph. He also scored a stoppage-time equaliser against Manchester City in the 2023 Community Shield, a match Arsenal won 4-1 on penalties at Wembley.
Before arriving in north London, Trossard spent four years at Brighton, making 121 appearances, scoring 25 goals and providing 15 assists. His professional career began at Genk, where he joined the academy in 2010 and went on to make 120 first-team appearances, including loan spells at Lommel United, Westerlo and OH Leuven.
On the international stage, Trossard has earned 57 senior caps for Belgium, scoring 14 goals and featuring in four major tournaments.
The transfer is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.
