Arsenal have brought seven academy players to their pre-season training camp in Girona, where the club is preparing to face the Spanish side at the end of a week-long stay. The group, selected by manager Mikel Arteta, includes several players who only recently signed their first professional contracts.
Defender and midfielder Theo Julienne, born 11 January 2008, joined Arsenal in June 2021 and made 28 appearances in the 2025/26 season, scoring his first goal against Leeds United. He has also been capped by England at under-16 and under-17 level.
Goalkeeper Khari Ranson, born 13 September 2007, signed his first professional contract last summer after joining the club's academy at under-10 level. He made 12 appearances in 2025/26, including his UEFA Youth League debut for the under-19s.
Full-back Josh Ogunnaike, born 8 April 2008, signed his first professional contract a fortnight before travelling to Girona. He started 31 matches across the under-21, under-19 and under-18 sides in 2025/26 and featured in Arsenal's first pre-season match against MK Dons.
Midfielder Ife Ibrahim, born 20 January 2008, signed his first professional contract in January 2026 and made his senior debut shortly after, coming on in the second half against Kairat Almaty in the UEFA Champions League. He played 32 times in the academy last season and appeared in Arsenal's 3-0 win over MK Dons this pre-season.
Centre-back Brayden Clarke, born 3 July 2007, joined Arsenal in March 2024 and has been capped by Wales under-19s on seven occasions. He is the son of former Scotland international Nigel Quashie and was named on the first-team bench against Bournemouth in May 2025.
Attacking midfielder Demiane Agustien, born 28 July 2007, joined from Derby County last summer and scored five goals in 24 appearances in his first academy season, including a goal in the UEFA Youth League against Club Brugge. He is an Netherlands under-19 international.
Winger Ceadach O'Neill, born 10 April 2008, made his Northern Ireland senior debut during the 2025/26 season and recorded 18 goals in 30 academy games. He scored in a behind-closed-doors friendly ahead of the Girona trip.
Also part of the squad in Spain are academy players who made their senior debuts last season: Marli Salmon, Tommy Setford, Andre Harriman Annous, Ismeal Kabia, Louie Copley and Max Dowman.
