Pedro Porro was part of the Spain squad that won the 2026 World Cup on Sunday, making him the fourth player in Tottenham Hotspur's history to lift the trophy while registered with the club.

The right-back started five of Spain's seven matches at the tournament, including every knockout fixture. Spain defeated Austria, Portugal, Belgium, France and Argentina on their way to the title.

Porro scored twice during the competition — his first two international goals. He opened his account against Austria in the round of 32, then added a further strike in the semi-final against France.

The defender joined Tottenham in 2023 and signed a new contract with the club last month. He has been a regular for Spain since the start of the 2024/25 campaign, starting consistently for the national side.
