Porro returns for Tottenham's clash with Aston Villa

Pedro Porro is set to return to Tottenham's squad for Saturday's Premier League home fixture against Aston Villa, manager Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed.

The Spanish right-back missed the past two matches — a goalless draw with Everton in the league and a Carabao Cup third-round defeat to Liverpool — after De Zerbi reported that Porro had "felt a small muscular problem" last week.

Porro spent part of the summer winning the World Cup with Spain before returning to club duties. De Zerbi confirmed his availability in a press conference following the Carabao Cup exit on Merseyside.

The manager is expected to provide a further team news update later in the week ahead of Saturday's lunchtime kick-off against Aston Villa.
