Manchester City begin pre-season training under Maresca

Manchester City returned to the City Football Academy on Monday to begin pre-season preparations for the 2026/27 campaign. It marked the start of a new era at the club, with Enzo Maresca taking charge of his first training session since being appointed manager in June.

City's summer schedule includes a tour of Asia, with stops in Hong Kong and Seoul. The club will face Inter Milan, a K-League All Stars XI, and Atletico Madrid during the trip, with all three matches available on CITY+.

Monday's session came after the squad's end-of-season break following the club's Carabao Cup and FA Cup triumphs last term.
