LFC Foundation held its 2026 Community Awards ceremony at Anfield on Thursday, recognising individuals from across the Liverpool City Region for their work in health, learning and employability programmes.

The event was hosted by LFCTV presenter Peter McDowall. Awards were presented by former players Gregory Vignal, Phil Thompson, Natasha Dowie and Becky Easton, alongside Foundation community ambassador Chris Kirkland.

Traitors cast members Rachel Duffy and Paul Gorton and members of LFC Foundation's senior leadership team also presented prizes on the night.

Matt Parish, CEO of LFC Foundation, said: "The Community Awards are always a special occasion, giving us the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the incredible individuals who have contributed to their communities throughout the season."

"The nominees and winners demonstrate dedication and a commitment to creating positive impact through our health, learning and employability programmes. Whether it's supporting others, volunteering their time or inspiring those around them, every individual recognised this evening has made a meaningful difference."

"Congratulations to all of this year's winners, who all remind us of what it truly means to be part of a community."

The ceremony brought together nominees and winners who contributed to their communities across the course of the season through the Foundation's three core programme areas.
