Tottenham Hotspur club ambassador Ledley King appeared at an Official Supporters Club evening in Auckland on Saturday, hosted by the Kiwi Spurs supporters group. The event took place at The Paddington venue in the city.
King took part in a one-hour Q&A session with presenter and Spurs fan Chris Chang, fielding questions from a full crowd of Tottenham supporters.
The former defender and club captain covered the main stages of his career at Spurs, from his first-team debut under George Graham in 1999 through to lifting the League Cup in 2008 and leading the club into the Champions League in 2010. He also addressed the knee problems that brought his playing career to an end in 2012.
After the structured interview, questions were opened to the floor. King was asked about former teammates, managers, trophy wins, and the toughest opponents he faced during his time at the club.
The Auckland appearance is part of Tottenham's summer fan engagement activity. The next scheduled stop is Sydney, where the club's OzSpurs supporters group is set to host an event in 2026.
