Cole Palmer has signed a new contract with Chelsea that will keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2034, extending his stay at the club by eight years.
The England forward arrived from Manchester City in 2023 and has since established himself as one of the most prominent players in the Premier League, winning the Young Player of the Season award in his debut 2023/24 campaign.
"I'm confident Chelsea will go back to the top very soon and I want to be a part of that and play a big role in that. Chelsea mean a lot to me," Palmer said in a statement marking the new deal.
Palmer, who wears the No.10 shirt, has produced a series of standout performances since joining the club. He scored the fastest perfect hat-trick in Premier League history against Everton and netted four first-half goals against Brighton in September 2024.
His contribution extended into European competition, with two assists in the UEFA Conference League final helping Chelsea turn the tie in their favour. He also scored twice and added an assist against PSG to win the Club World Cup, picking up both Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament honours.
"That was mad. New York, the stadium, everything about it made it one of the best days. It felt like a moment I told the world what I was all about," Palmer said of the Club World Cup final.
Palmer navigated a season disrupted by injury, still managing a hat-trick away at Wolves during that period. He opened his account for the current season on the opening day and has continued in form since.
"It's been a good start to the season with Joao and Morgan, so hopefully it can continue," he added.
