Chelsea have tied down academy midfielder Ollie Harrison to a new contract running until 2029, the club confirmed on July 24.

Harrison joined Chelsea from Newcastle United as a 16-year-old in August 2023 and quickly broke into the Under-18s setup at Cobham.

In his first season, he captained the side to Under-17 Premier League Cup glory and contributed to the Under-18s' Premier League South title win. After signing his first professional contract in August 2024, he became a regular fixture in the Under-21s, who claimed the Premier League 2 title last season.

Harrison has also gained exposure to first-team football, earning bench places for Chelsea's Premier League visit to Manchester City and FA Cup matches against Leeds United and Leicester City in the 2024/25 campaign. He was included again for the Carabao Cup tie at Lincoln City.

On the international front, the midfielder has represented England at youth level through to the Under-18s.
