Aston Villa sign 8Xbet as Asian betting partner

Aston Villa have announced a commercial partnership with 8Xbet, naming the Asian bookmaker as the club's Official Betting Partner in Asia.

The deal follows Villa's pre-season tour of the continent, during which the club held fan activations in Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong.

"Following our successful tour of Asia this pre-season, where we were able to enjoy a number of fan activations with supporters in Indonesia, Thailand and Hong Kong, we are excited by the growth opportunities that this partnership with 8Xbet will provide," an Aston Villa spokesperson said.

8Xbet founder Ryan Li welcomed the agreement, saying: "We are truly delighted to partner with such an iconic footballing club as Aston Villa as their Official Betting Partner in Asia, and we look forward to working with the Club and their fans as we continue the growth of 8Xbet globally through brand presence, exciting initiatives and promotions."

8Xbet is described as one of Asia's leading sports bookmakers. The partnership is intended to support both parties' international expansion ambitions.
