Arsenal's young side began their pre-season campaign with a 1-1 draw against Boreham Wood at Meadow Park on Friday night. Bowen Phillips rescued a point with an 85th-minute equaliser.
The first half was an even, goalless contest. Arsenal made ten changes at the 60-minute mark, keeping the same scoreline heading into the second period.
The wholesale substitutions opened the game up. Marley Marshall-Miranda gave the hosts the lead before Phillips struck late to level proceedings.
