Arsenal's players combined for 15 assists across the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the highest total ever recorded by a single club since assists were formally tracked from 1966. Bayern Munich matched the figure, while Liverpool (13) and Real Madrid (12) also surpassed the previous record of nine, set by Benfica at the 1966 tournament.
The final assist came from Eberechi Eze, who set up Bukayo Saka for his second goal in England's 6-4 third-place playoff win over France in Miami. Saka's hat-trick in that match was the last of 13 goals scored by Arsenal players at the tournament — the club's highest total at any World Cup.
Only PSG (16) and Real Madrid (22) scored more goals than Arsenal at the 2026 edition. Combined goals and assists, Arsenal's players produced 28, second only to Real Madrid's 34.
Saka, despite playing just 357 minutes, scored three goals and provided three assists, placing him alongside Kylian Mbappe (10 goals, 4 assists, 698 minutes) and Lionel Messi (8 goals, 4 assists, 740 minutes) as the only players at the tournament to reach both thresholds.
Leandro Trossard, who has since left Arsenal for Turkey, created 17 open-play chances — joint-highest in the entire tournament alongside Mbappe. Kai Havertz scored three goals for Germany, while Mikel Merino scored stoppage-time winners for Spain against Portugal in the round of 16 and against Belgium in the quarterfinal.
Spain beat Argentina 1-0 in the final in New York. Merino, Martin Zubimendi and goalkeeper David Raya all collected winners' medals, bringing to ten the total number of Arsenal players to have lifted the World Cup trophy while at the club.
Declan Rice played the most minutes of any Arsenal player at the tournament — 558 — ranking 38th overall across all players. Arsenal's squad collectively played 4,734 minutes across 71 matches, the fourth-highest total of any club represented at the 2026 World Cup.
