Arsenal winger Christos Tzolis is back in the starting lineup for Sunday's Premier League match at Anfield against Liverpool. The summer signing had missed the last six games after a hamstring injury sustained on international duty at the start of last month.

Mikel Arteta has made a host of changes from the side that played in the Carabao Cup in midweek. Only Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz keep their places from the XI that started at Fleetwood.

Riccardo Calafiori and Bruno Guimaraes are both recalled to the starting lineup after neither was named from the start in the last Premier League game, against Everton last weekend. Noni Madueke also returns to complete the front three with Tzolis and Havertz.

Arsenal go into the fixture second in the table with 21 points from eight games, having won seven and lost one.

Arsenal: Raya, Timber, Konsa, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Bruno, Odegaard, Madueke, Tzolis, Havertz.

Subs: Arrizabalaga, Mosquera, White, Hincapie, Eze, Gyokeres, Merino, Zubimendi, Lewis-Skelly.
