Tottenham Hotspur face Coventry City on Monday in their first Premier League meeting in 25 years, with the Sky Blues making their debut appearance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The sides last met in the top flight in March 2001, when goals from Steffen Iversen, Les Ferdinand and Sergei Rebrov gave Spurs a 3-0 victory. Since then, the clubs have crossed paths four times in cup competition.
The most recent encounter came just over two years ago, when late goals from Djed Spence and Brennan Johnson overturned a 1-0 deficit for Tottenham in the third round of the League Cup at the Ricoh Arena.
Coventry were a fixture in England's top division for 34 years before suffering relegation at the end of the 2000/01 season, having spent that era at their former home, Highfield Road.
The match carries added weight given the current standings. Tottenham sit bottom of the Premier League with three points from six games, while Coventry occupy 16th place on six points.
