Morgan Rogers has won the Chelsea Goal of the Month award for October, claiming the honour for the second month in a row.
Rogers, who joined the Blues from Aston Villa in the summer, has now won two of the three Goal of the Month awards available. He took the last two in succession.
His start at Stamford Bridge has been strong. He became the first Chelsea player, and only the second in the Premier League, to reach ten goal involvements in all competitions this season, with six goals and four assists.
His October winner came against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge. He took the ball from Romeo Lavia near the centre circle, drove through the heart of the defence and into the box, then lifted a composed finish over the keeper.
It was a close vote. Jordan Henderson's first Chelsea goal, against Bournemouth, finished second with 34 per cent of the votes. The midfielder's free-kick later in the same game was a distant third.
Rogers took 39 per cent of supporters' votes on the Chelsea Official App. His September award came from an instinctive volley into the bottom corner at Arsenal.
