Man Utd and Liverpool eye £84m Dortmund midfielder

Manchester United and Liverpool are both considering moves for Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha, with the German international valued at £84 million, according to TEAMtalk.

Nmecha extended his contract with Dortmund until June 2030 earlier this year and remains a key figure under head coach Niko Kovač, who views him as central to the club's long-term plans.

Manchester United have maintained persistent interest in the 24-year-old and are understood to have already made contact with Dortmund as they assess their options ahead of the winter transfer window.

Liverpool have also been monitoring Nmecha, with sources indicating he has emerged as a potential alternative should the club's reported pursuit of Bournemouth's Alex Scott fail to materialise.

Dortmund are not under pressure to sell, with Nmecha under contract until 2030, but the level of Premier League interest could test their resolve in the coming months.
