Liverpool Legends to face Inter Legends at Anfield

Liverpool FC Legends will face Inter Legends at Anfield on Saturday, March 27, 2027, with kick-off at 3pm GMT, the club announced. The LFC Foundation's annual charity match will bring together two of European football's most storied clubs.

The fixture is presented by AXA, Liverpool's official training partner, and all proceeds will support LFC Foundation and former player association Forever Reds. Funds raised will go towards the foundation's health, learning and employability programmes across the Liverpool City Region and around the world.

The charity is working towards its ambition of supporting 500,000 people a year by 2030. Last season, LFC Foundation supported 239,421 people, an increase of 65 per cent on the previous year, including more than 50,000 additional participants internationally.

Across its programmes, the foundation delivered 14,546 sessions and 629,104 hours of contact with participants, generating an estimated £54.2 million in healthcare savings. Since its launch in 2018, Forever Reds has donated £590,000 through its partnership with the foundation.

The match builds on previous legends games at Anfield, the 10 of which held to date have raised more than £10 million for communities across the Liverpool City Region and beyond. The management team and playing squad will be announced in the build-up to the game.

Matt Parish, LFC Foundation chief executive, said: "Anfield has seen some memorable European nights against Inter over the years, so we're delighted to welcome them back for a fixture that will bring supporters together for a great cause."
