Jeremy Jacquet has been voted Liverpool's Standard Chartered Men's Player of the Month for August and September, winning the award at his first opportunity following a supporters' poll on the club's official website.

"Just to say thank you – thank you to my teammates, thank you to the fans for this award. I'm really happy," the defender said at the AXA Training Centre.

Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak finished second and third in the voting respectively.

The 21-year-old appeared in all seven of Liverpool's matches across the opening two months of the 2026-27 season, starting six of them. His debut came in the 2-2 draw away at Newcastle United on the opening weekend.

Jacquet was part of a defensive unit that kept three consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League during September and also received a nomination for the division's Player of the Month award.

He rounded off the period by earning his first two senior caps for France during the latest international break.

"It's special that the fans chose me," the No.5 added. "It's a good reward. I hope I have many more."
