Manchester City defender Marc Guéhi says Tuesday's Champions League home game against AEK Athens is another opportunity for the squad to develop under Enzo Maresca, three months into the manager's reign.
City head into the match having won all seven of their Premier League games this season, sitting top of the table. In Europe, however, they are in 17th place in the UCL league phase standings after a 2-0 win at Porto and a 4-2 home defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
"I wouldn't say [it's] a concern [conceding those goals]. There are many things we have to consider," Guéhi said at his pre-match press conference. "New manager and getting used to playing together in the system the manager wants us to [use] and hopefully as time goes by, we learn and improve."
Guéhi, who has played every minute of City's last three fixtures, acknowledged personal responsibility for goals conceded. "When I look at those goals at the weekend, it's down to me and for me to look at and try to improve and put right in the next game," he said.
The England centre-back warned that AEK Athens would not be straightforward opponents. "We know they're a very good team and got a win in their first game and have very good attackers that have a lot of experience," Guéhi added. "They are going to come here and try to make the game difficult."
AEK Athens are also on three points in the UCL league phase and sit in 20th place in the composite standings. Tuesday's 20:00 kick-off at the Etihad Stadium is City's third group game of the campaign.
