Tottenham head coach Roberto De Zerbi says full-back Pedro Porro is ready to return to the starting lineup after a recent lay-off.

Porro picked up a hamstring injury against Villa on 19 September and returned from the bench in last weekend's 2-0 win against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. He was again a second-half substitute in Saturday's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, when De Zerbi made a switch with Archie Gray at half-time as a precaution, after Gray, who opened the scoring, received a yellow card in the first half.

Destiny Udogie also returned from the bench on 77 minutes against Palace after an injury picked up at Old Trafford.

Asked at his post-match press conference whether Porro and Udogie were ready to start matches, De Zerbi said: "Pedro is ready. We didn't take risks, speaking with him, he decided before the game, he was very honest with me and I appreciate that a lot because the Premier League is 38 games, not one game."

On Udogie, he added: "With Destiny Udogie, hopefully we can work many weeks in a row. Until now, it was not possible."
