Tottenham manager Roberto De Zerbi confirmed on Friday that Dejan Kulusevski continues to train with the squad and will travel to Old Trafford for Saturday's Premier League clash against Manchester United (5.30pm UK).

Kulusevski has been sidelined since April 2025. De Zerbi said the medical staff are assessing the Swedish midfielder on a week-by-week basis.

"He is working very well, and I think he is an example for everyone, Deki, because forget the player, but the example, how he reacts to the injury, how he reacts to being unlucky, the character he showed this time, was an example, a reference for everyone," De Zerbi said at his pre-match press conference.

When asked how close Kulusevski is to returning to matchday action, De Zerbi was cautious. "I don't know, I don't know. It's not just my responsibility. We are working together with the medical staff. They are working very well with him. They have done special work. We have to analyse him week by week."

Pedro Porro, currently recovering from a hamstring injury, will also make the trip to Manchester alongside Kulusevski, though De Zerbi gave no indication either player is ready to feature.
