Erling Haaland scored the winner as Manchester City came from behind to beat RB Leipzig 3-2 in the UEFA Champions League in Germany. The visitors had been level at 2-2 before his late strike.
The first half was evenly contested, but City took the lead after 37 minutes. Nico O'Reilly's cross into the six-yard box was turned into his own net by Castello Lukeba, the first goal the hosts had conceded at the Red Bull Arena this season.
Leipzig, managed by Martín Demichelis, came out after the interval with more attacking intent. Christoph Baumgartner's long-range effort was superbly tipped around the post by Gianluigi Donnarumma, but the hosts levelled with their next chance when Ridle Baku's cross slipped through at the near post.
City regained the lead shortly before the hour. Iliman Ndiaye's curling cross was directed into the net by the head of Enzo Fernández. Three minutes later, Antonio Nusa drew Leipzig level again.
With just over ten minutes remaining, Haaland restored City's advantage, finishing from Elliot Anderson's low cross across the box. City have three wins from their opening four League Phase fixtures and are second in the league table with 21 points from nine matches.
