Mikel Arteta has made six changes for Arsenal's Champions League game against Slavia Prague, with all three of the club's World Cup winners starting. Arsenal sit top of the table with 24 points from nine matches.

Martin Zubimendi and Mikel Merino have been given starts. Merino is looking to score again at the Fortuna Arena, where he netted twice exactly a year ago in a 3-0 win.

Piero Hincapie has been given his first Champions League start of the season at left-back, while Ben White swaps with Jurrien Timber on the other side of defence. Eberechi Eze has the chance to score in a third European game in a row. Viktor Gyokeres is preferred to Kai Havertz up front, although the German scored the winner against Liverpool three days ago.

Havertz, Martin Odegaard, Timber, Riccardo Calafiori, Bruno Guimaraes and Christos Tzolis all drop out of the side that started at Anfield and are named among the substitutes. William Saliba is also on the bench, looking for his first minutes of the campaign after recovering from a back injury sustained at the World Cup.

Slavia boss Jindrich Trpisovsky has made one change from the side that beat Jablonec 5-0 and moved seven points clear at the top of the Czech league. Centre-back Ange N'Guessan limped off in that game and is only fit enough for the bench, with winger Danijel Sturm coming in.

Jakub Markovic missed the last three games with an injury and returned to the bench, so Nazar Domchak keeps his place between the posts. Influential winger Lukas Provod is also back among the substitutes.
