Arsenal travel to Nottingham Forest on Sunday (4.30pm UK) seeking a tenth win from eleven matches this season, having returned to form with back-to-back home victories over Leeds United and Lille.

Mikel Arteta acknowledged the difficulty of the task ahead. "We have responded really well in the last two games, two very good performances and results, and now we just focus on the game against Forest, which I know is going to be a really tough one," he said. "They're an extremely well-coached team."

Forest sit 19th in the Premier League table with five points from seven games under new head coach Oliver Glasner, who replaced Vitor Pereira in the summer. Their only top-flight win came away at Aston Villa, and they have not won at the City Ground in their last 14 league matches.

Last weekend's 3-1 defeat at Crystal Palace left Glasner searching for answers in front of goal. The Austrian coach said he turned to striker Chris Wood, who has scored around 200 goals in English football, to address his side's finishing woes in training. "His message was: 'Always be confident, never lose trust in yourself, and there's always another one around the corner,'" Glasner said.

Forest's summer recruitment was funded largely by the £116 million sale of Elliott Anderson, which brought in Liam Delap, Daniel Munoz and centre-back Ousmane Diomande from Sporting Lisbon. Glasner is sweating on the fitness of Morgan Gibbs-White, his most creative player, who has been limited in training this week after picking up a minor muscular injury at Palace.

For Arsenal, Piero Hincapie is likely absent for a few more weeks after an ankle injury, while Christos Tzolis and William Saliba remain out longer term. Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Kai Havertz and Riccardo Calafiori are all candidates to return after being rested in midweek.

Arsenal have won only once in their last six visits to the City Ground, with the past two meetings ending goalless. However, Arteta's side have won six of their last eight Premier League away games, keeping four clean sheets in the process.
