Arsenal and Oakley Meta have released We Go Again, a short film marking the first project of their new partnership. The film follows Declan Rice on an early-morning run along the route of last season's victory parade through North London, wearing Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses.
The film is built around a shared mentality of celebrating achievements and then getting back to work, the club and the brand said. It is the first project of a partnership that brings together two brands with a shared ambition to keep pushing forward.
Arsenal Chief Revenue Officer Omar Shaikh said: "The trophy parade showed the extraordinary connection that brings Gooners together, from those who filled the streets of North London to the millions around the world who were part of our success." He added: "Our partnership with Oakley Meta is part of that ambition, bringing together the power of Arsenal and our communities around the world with Oakley Meta's technology and creativity to create new experiences that bring supporters closer to our club."
Eshan Ponnadurai, VP, Wearables at Meta, said: "The spirit of Arsenal and the passion of its supporters resonate with what we see in everyday athletes around the world: a determination to keep going, keep improving and never give up." He said the project was designed to "celebrate a moment that meant so much to Arsenal fans and capture how it inspires what comes next."
Arsenal players have already been using the Oakley Meta glasses, and they wore them during the celebrations that inspired the film. The full film is available on Arsenal and Oakley Meta's YouTube and Instagram channels, with behind-the-scenes content and more supporter experiences promised throughout the season.
