Ronald Araujo says he has found the continuity and confidence he was seeking since joining Liverpool on a season-long loan from FC Barcelona ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
The Uruguay international, wearing the No.33 shirt, has featured in all seven of Andoni Iraola's matches to date — including five starts — as Liverpool remain unbeaten.
"I am very happy. Very, very comfortable," Araujo said. "From the first moment I arrived, they made me feel very at ease. The teammates, the coaching staff and obviously the fans, they made me feel at home from the start."
Araujo dismissed suggestions he had something to prove after the move. "I don't do things to answer people or to try to prove anything. I know what I am worth, I know what I have and I know what I can do as a player and I am very convinced of that."
The defender pointed to regular playing time as the key factor behind his strong form. "I now have the continuity I was looking for and I know what I am capable of as a player when I have that continuity and that confidence," he said.
"I'm enjoying playing, doing what I love most and that's where the fruits of the labour are seen. I am someone who works extremely hard and the results show in your work."
