Gerónimo Rulli says he is looking forward to connecting with Manchester City supporters at Thursday’s City are Back open training session at the Joie Stadium.
The 34-year-old Argentine goalkeeper joined City from French club Marseille on a two-year contract, subject to international clearance. He was introduced to a group of fans at a City Store Meet & Greet on Wednesday alongside Elliot Anderson, Marc Guéhi and Gianluigi Donnarumma.
“I always say the same when you arrive at a club, you must meet the fans,” Rulli said. “So for me it will be a very special moment and I cannot wait to be there with them.”
“I think the connection is really important because when you go to work with the fans it makes everything much easier,” he added. “I know I arrive today at the best place to do it.”
