Spain defeated France 2-0 in Dallas on Tuesday to advance to the World Cup Final, with Tottenham defender Pedro Porro getting on the scoresheet in the second half.

Porro doubled Spain's lead on 58 minutes, combining with Dani Olmo before slotting past goalkeeper Mike Maignan. It was his second goal of the tournament, having also netted against Austria in the Round of 32 — his first international goals at a World Cup.

Spain had taken the lead earlier through Real Sociedad forward Mikel Oyarzabal, who converted from the penalty spot after Lucas Digne brought down Lamine Yamal.

Spain will face the winner of the second semi-final, where England take on Argentina in Atlanta on Tuesday at 8pm UK time. The final is scheduled for New York on Sunday at 8pm UK time.
