Four Chelsea players will feature across the 2026 FIFA World Cup final and third-place bronze final, scheduled for Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July respectively.

Enzo Fernandez will represent Argentina in Sunday's final against Spain at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey, with kick-off at 8pm UK time. The midfielder has scored twice in the tournament and played in all but one of Argentina's matches.

Fernandez scored Argentina's equaliser against England in their semi-final in Atlanta — a long-range strike that levelled after Anthony Gordon had given England the lead. Lautaro Martinez then won it in added time to complete a 2-1 comeback victory. Argentina have also eliminated Cape Verde, Egypt and Switzerland in the knockout rounds.

Holders Argentina face Spain, the 2010 world champions, in a bid to win back-to-back World Cup titles.

England defenders Reece James and Trevoh Chalobah are set for the bronze final against France in Miami on Saturday, kick-off 10pm UK time. James started the semi-final loss to Argentina, while Chalobah remained on the bench.

France's Malo Gusto will line up on the opposing side in that third-place match. The 23-year-old was an unused substitute as France were beaten 2-0 by Spain in their semi-final, with goals from Mikel Oyarzabal and Pedro Porro ending their hopes of a third consecutive World Cup final.

The World Cup final at MetLife Stadium — the same venue where Chelsea lifted the Club World Cup last summer — will be broadcast live on both BBC One and ITV in the United Kingdom.
