Arsenal have completed the permanent signing of 18-year-old Danish goalkeeper Isabella Damm from Brondby IF. The deal was confirmed on 17 July 2026.
"I'm so proud to be joining Arsenal and I can't wait to get started," Damm said. "Arsenal is a great club and I'm excited to develop as a player and as a person here, and help the club achieve more success. I've had the experience of training here before and I know the environment here is the right one for me to progress."
Damm had previously spent time on trial at Arsenal last season before the permanent move was agreed. She joins from the Danish club where she came through the youth ranks after arriving in 2021.
The goalkeeper made her Brondby first-team debut in a 3-0 win over AGF in October 2025. She has also represented Denmark at international youth level, featuring for both the under-17 and under-19 sides.
Director of Women's Football Clare Wheatley said: "We're really pleased to bring Isabella to the club. She's a player we've been monitoring for some time and we believe she's one of the best young goalkeepers in Europe in her age group."
Head Coach Renée Slegers described Damm as a player with clear technical ability. "Isabella is an exciting young goalkeeper with a strong foundation to build on. Her technical ability, composure and bravery are already clear, and she has a high ceiling for growth and progression," Slegers said.
Damm will wear the number 40 jersey at Arsenal.
