Manchester City begin their pre-season Asia Tour against Inter Milan on Saturday 1 August at the Kai Tak Stadium in Hong Kong, with kick-off set for 12:30 (UK time). The match will be Enzo Maresca's first as City manager following his appointment as successor to Pep Guardiola.
The game will be broadcast live globally on mancity.com and the official Man City app for CITY+ subscribers, with the exception of viewers in China and Italy. Live commentary will be provided by Alistair Mann, assisted by Andy Morrison.
Inter Milan are managed by Christian Chivu, who was appointed last summer and led the club to a domestic double in his debut season — winning both the Serie A title and the Coppa Italia.
The two clubs are well acquainted at the highest level. Their most notable meeting came in the 2023 UEFA Champions League final, where a Rodri strike secured a 1-0 City victory and completed the Treble. The sides also met in the Champions League group stage at the Etihad in September 2024, finishing 0-0.
Following the Hong Kong fixture, City travel to Seoul for two further pre-season matches: against a K League All Stars XI on Wednesday 5 August, and Atletico Madrid on Sunday 9 August, both at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.
A CITY+ subscription costs £34.99 annually or £9.99 per month and covers all three Asia Tour fixtures with live commentary and full-match replays.
