Liverpool will wrap up their pre-season tour of the United States with a match against Leeds United at Chicago's Soldier Field on August 2. The game is the third and final fixture of a fortnight-long stint in the States ahead of the 2026-27 season.

Andoni Iraola's side will also play Sunderland in Nashville and Wrexham in New York before heading to Chicago. The Leeds clash in Illinois closes out the American schedule.

It will be Liverpool's second appearance at Soldier Field. The club previously played a friendly against Olympiacos there in July 2014, winning 1-0 thanks to a fifth-minute goal from Raheem Sterling.

Soldier Field is one of the United States' oldest major venues. Planning began in 1919 as a memorial to soldiers killed in war, construction took place across three phases between 1922 and 1939, and the stadium opened in late 1924 under the name Municipal Grant Park Stadium before being renamed a year later.

The ground is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and hosted the opening match of the 1994 World Cup, where Germany defeated Bolivia 1-0. It became the permanent home of NFL franchise Chicago Bears in 1971 and is also used by Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire. Its current capacity stands at 63,500.
