Arsenal have confirmed their squad numbers for the 2026/27 Premier League campaign, with new signings Bruno Guimaraes, Christos Tzolis and Illan Meslier all assigned shirts ahead of their title defence.
Guimaraes, who joined from Newcastle, will wear the number 39 — a number he has carried throughout his career in honour of his father, whose taxi bore the same digits during his working years in Brazil.
Tzolis has taken number 17, a shirt with notable history at the club previously worn by Oleksandr Zinchenko and made famous by Alexis Sanchez and Emmanuel Petit. Meslier has been allocated number 30, last worn by Raheem Sterling during the 2024/25 season.
The departures of Jakub Kiwior, Christian Norgaard and Leandro Trossard have left numbers 15, 16 and 19 vacant, along with 18. Numbers 25, 26, 27 and 28 have also remained unassigned for the past two seasons and are available for any further recruits before the transfer window closes.
