With the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League season beginning this weekend, three Chelsea players priced at £6m or under stand out as potential value picks for managers building their squads.
Maxence Lacroix (£6m) is the highest-profile budget option. The French defender finished as the eighth-highest-scoring defender in FPL last season with 154 points, and ranked third in the league for defensive contribution points with 40.
Fellow summer signing Marco Palestra (£5.5m) offers an additional advantage through positional flexibility, capable of playing on both flanks. The Italian was the second-fastest player in Serie A last season and could benefit from manager Xabi Alonso's preference for attack-minded full-backs or wing-backs.
In midfield, Moises Caicedo (£5.5m) provides a similar price point. The midfielder recorded 26 defensive contribution points last season while also contributing three goals and one assist.
Chelsea's premium assets — Joao Pedro (£7.5m), Cole Palmer (£9.5m) and Morgan Rogers (£7.5m) — dominate early squad discussions, but FPL managers face key decisions on sub-£6m options before the first match week.
