Dominik Szoboszlai is the most-owned Liverpool asset in Fantasy Premier League ahead of the 2026-27 campaign, selected by more than 43 per cent of managers — the fourth-highest ownership rate in the entire game.
The Hungarian midfielder accumulated 160 FPL points in 2025-26, scoring six goals and registering seven assists. He also created 78 chances, a total bettered by only one other midfielder across the whole competition, and took 104 corners and 38 free-kicks in the league.
Virgil van Dijk is the second most-selected Liverpool player, appearing in more than 16 per cent of FPL squads. The captain finished last season as the top scorer in the Liverpool squad with 175 points — the third-highest total among all defenders in the game. He scored six goals, the most of any defender in the league, and recorded 351 defensive contributions returning 28 defensive contribution points.
Florian Wirtz rounds out Liverpool's top three owned players at 14.5 per cent. The midfielder posted 125 points in his debut Premier League season — five goals, four assists, 10 clean sheet points and 17 bonus points. New head coach Andoni Iraola has indicated he intends to deploy Wirtz behind the striker, a factor that has increased manager interest in the £7.5m asset.
The Gameweek 1 deadline falls at 6.30pm BST on Friday August 21, with FPL managers able to make unlimited changes to their squads until that point. Each manager may select a maximum of three players from any single Premier League club.
